LibScribd: a great PLGO tool! LibScribd is a project wich born inside PLGO, taking all the advantages provided by the Scribd' API. The PLGO community has been working in this project from September 2010, and now, six months after, we proudly present to the academical community the final result of these efforts. We has been able to organize all the contents included in our Library at Scribd, but minimizing to the limit the difficulties to place and access our documents. We are sure in the next months more and more contents concerning the Patristic/Patrological studies will be available in some other sites than the great services provided through Googlebooks, Internet Archive, Gallica and Scribd. But we warn too a big issue: the inadequate work made with the labels and finally, the organization around these materials. Any user who try to locate in Googlebooks any volume of the Patrologiae Cursus Completus Series Latina, may require a considerable time to find the volume searched. This is the same situation we have in other services, as the Internet Archive or Gallica. If the Patrologia in their two big series: Latina and Graeca was designed as a complete collection, the modern browsing motors are indexing these volumes as independent works too, and this fact makes very difficult to have access to the contents, even if these contents was released some months ago. Indexing, organizing and reviewing our contents, we hope continue helping the academical community. We are convinced too that LibScribd is a great and useful step to afford this goal. Our minimal web template allow browse quickly and easily between our contents, and optimizes too the 'full screen' reading, displaying the contents with better results in any screen. Avoiding the use of big and external elements, the managing of documents is improved when they are viewed on line. At this time, we are starting an improved indexation method, which will be providing the visitor go directly to determinate chapters inside a book: this will be a very big task, and may take us even some years in accomplish. But, this first stage may be useful to the visitors who was looking for contents available in various sites, which are now gathered in this site with optimal organization and labeling. Be welcome!
